Chinese University Students’ Beliefs about English Language Learning and Self-efficacy

Learners’ beliefs on language learning and perceived self-efficacy are important to the success of their second/foreign (SL/FL) learning. To reveal general profiles relationship between Chinese students’ about English self-efficacy, present study examined held by university EFL (English as a FL) learners at differing proficiency levels. A total 1,698 students from top in Beijing answered battery questionnaires. The results revealed overview nature roles teachers, feedback strategies, self-efficacy. Another major finding was that participants different levels differed significantly one another
